My Handwork Studio ~ A Fashion and Needle Arts Community for Kids!

We ask basic, non-personal questions to all studio members. This helps you meet other users and helps us identify hobbies and interests so we can develop new, interesting features just for you.

All My Handwork Studio members have the opportunity to earn "studio dollars".

Studio dollars are earned by playing games or completing classes. Studio members may purchase accessories or special outfits for their character with their studio dollars.

For each completed class, Studio members earn $100 studio dollars. For every 10,000 points earned in each game, members also earn $100 studio dollars.

Simply login into your account, click on "edit my character" then "accessories".

We will be adding new accessories every month, so visit often!

As a studio member, kids are able to communicate with one another through our custom built messaging component. When you send a message, you are able to specify if it is a message to "All My Friends", particular friends or "Public".

Messages to "All My Friends" will only be delivered to studio members who are on your friends list. Messages to the public will show for all registered studio members who visit your profile.

You are not required to fill out your profile again. We have future plans to give parents and educators the ability to interact with one another the same way kids can. By setting up the section this way, we will have an easier time implementing the new features.

All comments and FAQs posted to the parents and educators section must first be approved before they go live on the site. This helps us keep content on the site appropriate for kids, parents and educators.

Classes are full blown educational videos giving studio members step-by-step instruction to start and complete fun, handworks projects.

Every class requires a certain number of skills or "How To's" necessary to complete each project. "How To" videos show, in detail, the finer points of Crochet, Embroidery, Knitting, Needle Felting, Machine Sewing, and Hand Sewing.
