I love doing craft tables.  It gives me a chance to work with kids who have never done handwork.  It gives me a great sense of pleasure to see how the kids react to working on a sewing machine for the first time or see all the cool things they can make. 

The other great thing about working these events is all the really cool people we meet.  I get to talk to crafters who like working with kids and would love to be a part of the studio. (I met a really cool woman yesterday)  I get to talk to grandparents who machine sew or knit and are so thrilled to see us bringing needle arts to kids.  And sometimes we just meet some really nice people doing really interesting things.

One of the really cool people we met yesterday was in the booth next to us.  They have a really interesting new company called Cake Time.  It is a website for stress free party planning.  You can find resources, read and write reviews and order a cake online to be delivered to your event.   How awesome is that?!
