What is art?

It never ceases to amaze me how our kids' projects actually turn out.  We generally are off to a shaky start with the oddest color choices, followed by "a little less than perfect" stitching, throw in way too much stuffing and out comes THE most adorable pieces of art.  Now, only after 7 years, have I come to learn never to second guess my students' artistic vision.  We have re-worked many a project based on a 6 year old's input. 

So next time you are working with your children and they want to make or draw a green dog.....go for it. They are most definitely right!
