TNNA - More than you can imagine...

Well, Miss Julia, Miss Elaine and I just got back from the National Needle Arts Association tradeshow in Columbus this past weekend. When you think of needle arts, I'm guessing you think of your quaint local yarn shop and dream of owning a sweet simple business like that one day. Well, let me tell you, 18 rows of vendors, thousands of people, jobs I'd never heard of and more products than you thought possible....that is TNNA.

What is art?

We recently held our first student exhibition showing off all the kids' needle arts projects that they made throughout the year. It was such a satisfying evening to see all these magnificent pieces displayed. I took great pride in these kids.....my kids, who transformed "holey" pieces of knitting into beautiful purple penguins or birds sitting on needle felted nests with eggs.
